We need to change the way we work. But how do we work differently if we’ve never worked that way?
This is a question that I’ve been asked a few times recently.
The way organisations work has been permanently changed by the pandemic, and more and more people are asking ‘How To…?’
Just last week I had 2 interesting conversations – with Chris Yap and Elaine Hamilton Grundy on how the corporate world is changing, and I was reminded of this ‘Mindset Shifts’ infographic that I had seen before. Thanks Janet Yung – Chief Learning Officer for sharing it!
What I think is that the ‘HOW-TOs’ remain the same
– Be Self-Aware and Grow
– Build Relationships
– Build Trust
– Communicate, Communicate, Communicate.
These are the bricks that we would use to build any structure.
What has changed is the design – as the mindset shifts towards Purpose, Networks, Empowering, Experimentation and Transparency, the same bricks will be used but in different ways.
