“I absolutely LOVE running workshops on the VIRTUAL platform!!!”

Funny to think that just two years ago, I would have said “in your dreams” if anyone had declared that this would be my declaration of love. 

It is true though. 

So I was a little worried about going back to The Change Business first F2F (face-to-face) workshop, not so much because we had just hit our highest numbers just the night before here in Singapore….but because it has been, well, TWO YEARS!! 

OK…so I have been doing this for over 20 years and I should already have it “in my muscle”. Still. Two years folks is a long time. 

Here’s what I realised I had missed:
* Listening to the chatter of people and watching them so engaged in their discussions – and Meenakshi missed the coffee conversations too.
* The smell of markers …IKR?
* The energy of a physical audience (I thought I would be a wreck by the end of the day but I felt so alive….that is the extrovert in me speaking).

Here’s what I realised I had NOT missed:
@ Waking up earlier – much too early – as I always like being at the venue 1.5 hours before an event/training 
@ As Meenakshi Sarup said – “where is the “mute” button!”
@ Not being able to have a hard stop with discussions by forcibly (and sometimes rudely) pulling them back from Breakout Rooms 🙂
@ And Meenakshi added – “Did not miss the packing either!”

Doing a blended version of our Presenting Intelligence™ workshop though was oodles of fun for both us. So happy to be able to explore new ways of running workshops.

Online.
Blended.
Hybrid.

You name it. We are game for anything new and always ready to explore change!
