2 weeks ago Meenakshi Sarup and Roshini Ganesan delivered a workshop in a hybrid setup and sharing here some of the snapshots from it 🙂
Whether we embrace them or not, hybrid workshops have become an integral part of the training world. They have become a permanent fixture , and the pandemic has shown us how adaptable we are as individuals.
We quickly adjust to new circumstances and often forget why we were initially hesitant or resistant to change. We may have some reservations about hybrid workshops, but by focusing on the learner experience, leveraging advanced technology at the client’s location, receiving support from people we trust and seeking advice from people we know that can help just like our friend Robert Kienzle, we managed to create something valuable.
However, conducting a full-blown workshop with both in-person and online participants, while creating activities for both groups and running them simultaneously, presented its challenges. We are still a long way from feeling completely satisfied or thinking, “Yes! We’ve mastered this!” But it’s a promising start. ✨
The most crucial aspect was ensuring that those joining us online felt supported and included in the learning experience.
We are grateful to our client, one of our first significant clients in 2011, for trusting us again on this learning and discovery journey. We eagerly anticipate more opportunities to design workshops for this hybrid space and are actively seeking out experts to learn from and elevate our skills to the next level. ❤️
