Most of all love #stories. We love listening to them. We love reading and writing them too. The challenge however was a lack of confidence and a load of details that left our stories too long and and our audience “checking-out” before we got to “the end”. Nothing worse than having glazed looks staring back at you when you hoped for so much more.
So our quest to tell better stories has had us looking to mentors and coaches and workshops that best help. And we love this article from #hbr that captures the essence of “How to tell a great story”.
The article captures quotes from Nick Morgan, author of Power Cues who talks about creating “sticky” messages with stories. We have created a wonderful summary of the main points and we also share the full article for your reference.
